PC-BSD software often offers patches and fixes for your operating system. These patches may be downloaded below, simply select the version of PC-BSD you are currently using for a list of available patches. (You may find the version of PC-BSD you are using by going to KMenu -> Settings -> System Administration -> System Manager )

or, alternatively, you can upgrade from any 1.3.x or 1.4.x version to 1.5 with the following patch:

Patch to update to 1.5
Name: Patch1.5-PV0.pbi Download this update: Important Notes: This update to version 1.5 is a complete system update, which will require 3GB of free space to unpack / install. After installing the PBI, the system will require a reboot, and during the boot process will perform the update. This process may take 30+ minutes to complete, and the system will be unavailable during this time. Users who have customized their PC-BSD system by installing extra packages will need to note that this update will remove the installed packages and update them to the default 1.5 package set. Installed PBIs will not be removed.
Patch to update to 1.5.1
Name: Patch1.5-PV0.pbi Download the 32bit update: MD5: 7d1070fb785c0678f28f2ba9aa470383 Download the 64bit update: MD5: 02a0e32cebc1f01986db04d119b0acc0 Important Notes: This update to version 1.5.1 upgrades several of the installed packages from 1.5, as well as provides bug fixes and security enhancements to the system. The update will require a system reboot, and the patch will be applied during the system startup.
